DK Flower Nursery – Growing Dreams, One Plant at a Time

At the heart of Bharmoti Chowk in Nadaun, Sammy runs a quaint but vibrant nursery that offers a range of flowers and plants. His love for greenery and understanding of plant care inspired him to start DK Flower Nursery, hoping to serve both individual garden lovers and larger landscaping needs in the region.

Despite having a great location on the main highway, Sammy’s business reach was mostly limited to nearby villages. The absence of digital presence and marketing tools meant that many potential customers never discovered the variety and quality his nursery offered.

That changed when Sammy attended the RAMP Boot Camp, organized by HPCED, Startup Himachal, and SkillLabs. During the boot camp, Sammy was guided on the importance of digital visibility. His business was set up on Google My Business, allowing it to appear in online local searches, with features like maps, business hours, and product photos. He was also introduced to Khatabook, a mobile application that helps small businesses track income, expenses, and customer balances efficiently.
