Kanha Ji Creations – Spreading Smiles, One Soft Toy at a Time

From the picturesque hills of Himachal Pradesh, Neelam Rana is on a heartfelt mission — to create joy through soft toys. After receiving hands-on training in soft toy manufacturing, she launched her brand Kanha Ji Creations, with the dream of turning her small-scale idea into a leading name in the industry.

Her beautifully handcrafted toys reflect warmth and creativity, but Neelam’s reach was limited. Without digital tools and marketing knowledge, her business mostly served nearby villages and lacked the visibility to grow beyond her locality.

At the RAMP Boot Camp organized by HPCED, Startup Himachal, and SkillLabs, Neelam was introduced to the fundamentals of digital branding and business tools. Her business was listed on Google My Business, making her products more accessible to a wider audience. She also set up a WhatsApp Business account, allowing for real-time communication, catalog sharing, and customer engagement. In addition, Neelam completed her Udyam registration for formal recognition as an MSME and was trained to use Khatabook, a digital tool to manage her finances more effectively.
