Lovely Rani, a spirited and creative entrepreneur from Nadaun, envisions building Lovely Boutique into a household name in the region. With a passion for fashion and an eye for detail, she aims to offer unique and elegant designs that cater to the evolving tastes of her community. Despite her talent and ambition, Lovely faced a common barrier—a lack of digital presence, which restricted her customer base to a small local circle.
During the RAMP Boot Camp conducted by HPCED, Startup Himachal, and SkillLabs, Lovely was introduced to the fundamentals of establishing an online identity. A Google My Business profile was created for her boutique, enabling visibility in local searches and easy access to location, product images, and business hours. She was also guided on managing reviews and interacting with customers online.
In addition, she was made aware of the importance of maintaining structured business records and was introduced to Khatabook, a tool to manage her boutique’s financial transactions more efficiently.
