Pandit Ice Factory – Cooling the Region with Quality and Care

In the serene village of Gauna near Nadaun, Neelam Sharma runs Pandit Ice Factory, a large-scale local enterprise producing ice blocks and delicious ice creams. With dedication and community roots, Neelam has been meeting the needs of nearby towns and markets, especially during the demanding summer months.

Despite having the infrastructure and a variety of products, the factory remained limited in reach. With no digital presence and minimal brand identity, Pandit Ice Factory’s potential was constrained to its immediate surroundings, missing out on wider business opportunities.

That’s when Neelam participated in the RAMP Boot Camp organized by HPCED, Startup Himachal, and SkillLabs. She received insights into the power of digital tools and how they can enhance visibility and customer engagement. A Google My Business account was created for her factory, enabling online discoverability with details such as directions, contact info, photos, and operating hours. Additionally, Neelam was trained in using Khatabook, a digital bookkeeping solution that helps small businesses maintain financial discipline and transparency.
