In the heart of Nadaun, Rohit Kapil, a young and determined entrepreneur, runs Vee Kay Trading Co, a store supplying stationery, books, and other educational essentials. His primary customers are students from nearby schools, and he has steadily earned their trust through reliability and a wide product range.
However, despite having a strong offline presence, Rohit’s business lacked digital visibility. Most of his reach was confined to nearby villages, and he was missing out on the growing opportunities that come with an online presence.
At the RAMP Boot Camp organized by HPCED, Startup Himachal, and SkillLabs, Rohit was introduced to the world of digital business. His Google My Business profile was created to help local customers find his store online, view product details, and get directions easily. Additionally, he was guided on the use of Khatabook, a digital tool for managing customer transactions and financial records, enabling him to streamline his operations.
