An Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) was conducted on 25 February 2026 at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Government Polytechnic, Ambota, engaging students in an interactive and awareness-driven session focused on entrepreneurship and career diversification. The programme aimed to introduce technical students to enterprise creation and encourage them to explore self-employment opportunities alongside conventional job pathways.
The session emphasized the importance of identifying real-world problems and converting them into viable business opportunities. Students were guided on understanding business models, validating ideas, assessing market demand, and developing structured growth strategies. Special focus was placed on helping students recognize how their technical and vocational skills can be transformed into sustainable enterprises.
Discussions also covered key entrepreneurial competencies such as financial planning, digital presence, branding, innovation, and adaptability in today’s competitive environment. Students actively participated, raising queries related to startup challenges, funding options, and practical execution.
The interaction successfully bridged the gap between classroom-based technical education and real-world entrepreneurial application. The enthusiastic participation reflected a growing inclination among polytechnic students toward innovation and enterprise development.
Through such initiatives, SkillLabs continues to strengthen entrepreneurship awareness within technical institutions and empower youth with the mindset, knowledge, and confidence required to become future job creators.
