Under the Raising & Accelerating MSMEs Performance (RAMP) Programme, an Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) was conducted on 26 February 2026 at Government College Barsar, Hamirpur, engaging students in a structured and awareness-driven session on entrepreneurship.

The programme aimed to sensitize students about emerging opportunities within the MSME ecosystem and encourage them to explore innovation-led career pathways beyond traditional employment options. Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, including identifying real-world problems, developing viable business ideas, and understanding structured business models.

Special emphasis was placed on building an entrepreneurial mindset, enhancing digital literacy, and leveraging government-supported MSME frameworks. Students were guided on Udyam registration, available financial assistance schemes, market linkage strategies, and the importance of digital presence in scaling modern enterprises.

The interactive session enabled students to actively engage in discussions related to startup challenges, funding access, idea validation, and growth planning. The programme successfully bridged the gap between academic learning and practical entrepreneurial application within the MSME landscape.

The enthusiastic participation reflected growing awareness and interest among students toward entrepreneurship-driven development. Through such RAMP initiatives, SkillLabs continues to strengthen youth entrepreneurship, promote self-employment opportunities, and align academic institutions with national MSME growth missions.
