Continuing its commitment to fostering skill-based entrepreneurship among youth, an Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) under the Raising & Accelerating MSMEs Performance (RAMP) Programme was conducted on 24 February 2026 at Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Kuthar. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from 30 students of Mechanical and COPA trades, reflecting strong interest in entrepreneurial learning within technical education.
The programme aimed to introduce students to practical aspects of entrepreneurship and encourage them to view their technical skills as potential business opportunities. The session was highly interactive, enabling students to actively engage in understanding the fundamentals of Business Models and how structured planning converts ideas into viable enterprises.
A major focus area was Digital Literacy, highlighting the growing importance of technology in today’s business environment. Students were sensitized about building digital presence, using online tools effectively, and leveraging digital platforms for marketing, operations, and growth. The discussion emphasized how digital awareness enhances competitiveness and scalability in modern enterprises.
Participants explored how their trade-based skills could be transformed into sustainable ventures by identifying customer needs, creating value propositions, and adopting innovative approaches. The session successfully bridged the gap between vocational training and entrepreneurial application.
The strong engagement of students underscored the rising inclination toward entrepreneurship within skill development institutions. Through such RAMP initiatives, SkillLabs continues to empower technical youth with entrepreneurial mindset, digital capability, and structured business understanding — enabling them to transition from job seekers to future enterprise creators.
