Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) under RAMP at Nav Bharati CLF, Baddi

As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen grassroots enterprises under the Raising & Accelerating MSMEs Performance (RAMP) Programme, an Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) was conducted on 24 February 2026 at Nav Bharati Cluster Level Federation (CLF), Baddi. The session witnessed active participation from 24 entrepreneurs, demonstrating growing momentum toward structured enterprise development at the community level.

The programme was conducted in the presence of Pradhan CLF Mrs. Seema Devi, Secretary Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur, and Block Coordinator Mr. Yograj Singh, whose involvement reinforced institutional support for federation-led businesses.

Nav Bharati CLF is engaged in the production of Herbal Soap, Jute Bags, Pickle, Dhoop Sticks, and other value-added products, playing a vital role in women-led livelihood generation. The session focused on strengthening business foundations, improving product quality standards, enhancing pricing strategies, and exploring structured market linkages.

During the interactive discussion, key support requirements were identified to scale operations effectively:

  • Access to quality Raw Material at competitive pricing

  • Professional Branding and Packaging support

  • Udyam Registration for MSME formalization

  • GST Registration to expand into larger markets

Participants were guided on formalizing their enterprises, building a strong collective identity under the CLF model, and leveraging government schemes for financial and technical support. The emphasis remained on transforming existing production activities into structured, compliant, and market-ready MSME units.

The session concluded with a clear roadmap for strengthening enterprise capacity, enhancing brand positioning, and enabling Nav Bharati CLF to expand sustainably within and beyond local markets.

Through such RAMP initiatives, SkillLabs continues to accelerate rural enterprise growth, strengthen federation-based business models, and promote women-led economic empowerment aligned with national MSME development goals.
