As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen youth entrepreneurship under the Raising & Accelerating MSMEs Performance (RAMP) Programme, an Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) was conducted on 25 February 2026 at the Pre-Incubation Center, Shri Vishnu SD Post Graduate College, Bhatoli (Una).

The session was designed to create entrepreneurial awareness among students and encourage them to explore startup and self-employment opportunities alongside traditional career pathways. Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, including identifying real-world problems, developing viable business ideas, and understanding structured business models.

A major focus of the programme was on building entrepreneurial mindset and strengthening digital awareness. Students were guided on how digital literacy, online branding, and effective use of digital platforms can significantly enhance business visibility and scalability. Practical insights were shared on converting academic knowledge into market-ready ventures through planning, innovation, and institutional support.

The session was interactive in nature, with students actively participating in discussions related to startup challenges, business validation, growth strategies, and leveraging government-backed MSME initiatives. The Pre-Incubation Center environment further encouraged students to view entrepreneurship as a structured and achievable career pathway.

The enthusiastic engagement reflected growing interest among college students toward innovation-driven enterprise development. Through such RAMP initiatives, SkillLabs continues to promote entrepreneurial culture within academic institutions and empower youth to transition from job seekers to future enterprise creators.
