“Karigari se Karobari” Event- Post Graduate Govt. College, Sec-46, Chandigarh

SkillLabs proudly sponsored the “Karigari Se Karobari” fest, an inspiring initiative by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Post Graduate Government College, Sector-46, Chandigarh. The event was aimed at fostering entrepreneurship, self-employment, and skill development among students.

Empowering Students Through Entrepreneurship

The event was inaugurated by Professor J.K. Sehgal, Principal of the college, in the presence of Professor Sneh Harshinder Sharma, Vice Principal. Addressing the audience, Professor Sehgal emphasized the importance of self-reliance and entrepreneurial skills, urging students to take charge of their futures by transforming their talents into sustainable businesses.

Themed “Karigari Se Karobari” (from craftsmanship to entrepreneurship), the fest provided a platform for students to showcase their products, services, and business ideas, promoting financial independence and innovation.

Over 35 Student-Run Stalls Witness Huge Success

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students across all streams, with more than 35 stalls featuring a variety of products, including:

✔️ Games and entertainment

Students not only exhibited their talents but also earned significant profits over their initial investments, proving the power of entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on experience.
