SkillLabs Resource Services successfully conducted an Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) at Ganu Mandwara (Daulatpur), District Una, Himachal Pradesh, engaging aspiring entrepreneurs and members of the Mahila Mandal in an interactive session focused on grassroots enterprise development.

The session was specially designed to promote entrepreneurship among rural women and local community members, with a focused discussion on food processing-based enterprises as a viable and sustainable business opportunity. Participants were guided on identifying locally available resources, value addition techniques, packaging, branding, pricing strategies, and market linkage development to transform traditional skills into income-generating ventures.

The interactive format encouraged open dialogue, allowing participants to share their aspirations and challenges related to funding, production, and market access. Practical insights were shared on how small-scale food processing units can be formalized under MSME frameworks and supported through government schemes.

A significant highlight of the programme was the interaction with Mr. Anubhav Sood, a successful honey entrepreneur, and Mrs. Nishu Lata, who are actively contributing to rural livelihood promotion. They are engaged in providing training to rural women under the Khadi Gramodyog Programme, helping them build sustainable income opportunities through skill-based micro-enterprises. Their experience and practical insights added strong motivation and real-life examples for the participants.

The session reflected strong enthusiasm among the Mahila Mandal members, showcasing growing awareness and interest in entrepreneurship-led economic empowerment. Through such initiatives, SkillLabs continues to strengthen rural enterprise ecosystems, promote women-led entrepreneurship, and contribute toward community-driven economic development aligned with government MSME growth missions.
